About the Role:

Airbnb’s Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACOE) in India is hiring a Business Analyst to join the AirCover Operations Team. This position focuses on building and enhancing Airbnb’s analytical capabilities to support smarter, data-driven decision-making across product and business functions.

A Typical Day Includes:

• Executing analytics projects and presenting insights that enable operational efficiency.
• Maintaining data integrity and ensuring high-quality metrics for reporting.
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis and investigations to inform decision-making.
• Measuring product performance using advanced analytics tools.
• Creating predictive and descriptive models that identify business opportunities.
• Collaborating across teams to define key metrics and drive project success.

Key Technical Skills:

SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Machine Learning, Data visualization, Cohort analysis, Funnel analysis, Segmentation, Statistical modeling, Data storytelling, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Hive, Presto, Spark

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a data or business analyst role.
• Strong command of SQL and intermediate knowledge of Python or R.
• Proficiency with presentation and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Solid problem-solving and data storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with statistical and analytical methodologies.
• Experience working with large data warehouses or data lakes (Hive, Presto, Spark).
• Strong communication and project management abilities.
• Understanding of marketplace operations or insurance programs is a plus.
